The election season

Good advice for politicians (and regular folk, too)

We are the power

Change doesn’t come by voting for some closed minded politician and giving them the power to make decisions for a population that they are so obviously out of touch with and don’t care about. Outside of the fact that we are seen as cattle, pawns in their game of world domination and contributors to their retirement funds, the people are of no value or interest to the establishment. The system is broken and no amount of  “reform” will fix it. The government is a “for profit” organization that trades on the lives of its shareholders–the American people, the working class that actually provides the money and manpower to make this country the reckless, imperialistic bully that it is. This corporation needs to be dismantled, dismembered, burned to ashes, and buried in multiple graves. Maybe then we’ll possibly have a chance for redemption. The world is in a sad state. We have given our power away to entities who abuse us and lie to us  and tell us that they have our best interests at heart. It’s time to wake up and smell the bullshit. It’s time for the cattle to stampede, for the slaves to break their shackles. We are our own future. The time is now, the revolution is here! We are the power!

reform or revolution.

To the question of reform or revolution, I answer revolution. I find it hard to conceive the successful rehabilitation of a system that is inherently flawed, a system that allows for and ,indeed, promotes the subjugation of the weak based on an outmoded concept of monetary value. Reform, at this point, is tantamount to applying band-aids to a bullet ridden corpse. Democracy has devolved into a joke with a fatal punchline. Literally. The electoral process is merely lip service designed to fool the masses into believing that we actually have a voice. The political system has become a corporation unto itself run by parasites and thieves. Reform is touted by the capitalist kingpins that want to remain in power to continue the policies of imperialism and domination-by-fear, to line their pockets with the profits of war. In each and every election the word is bandied about like an anthem, false promises and lies are injected like drugs into the veins of the masses, sweet words are whispered into the ears of the desperate to keep us docile and unaware. Reform is the catchword of the elite. It is nothing more than placatory sentiment, scraps from the table. It is an enticement for us to roll over and play dead, to remain willing slaves to the machine. Revolution is a new day. It is an opportunity to get things right, an opportunity to build a society together as one people, not as separate classes. It is an opportunity to put the best of ourselves into practice. What is the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. It is time we reclaimed our sanity. A complete revolution, from psyche to physical reality, is the only way we can survive. It is the only way to save the world.
